Arena Gadgets - A technology media from South Korea has revealed that
Samsung will test a periscope-style camera.
The house, the camera module will make its upcoming flagship
phone debut from Samsung, the Galaxy S11. The periscope camera utilizes a
mirror to deflect the light from the front towards the camera sensor that is
placed sideways.
This way, the camera lens arrangement can be
horizontally-transverse in the body, instead of being vertical and prominent
outside. In the smartphone world, periscope camera technology has already been
used by Oppo and Huawei on top-class phones respectively. On the Galaxy S11,
the periscope camera trial for this phone is reportedly going to be done with a
South Korean company-made component called Mecatech Systems.
The company is also called the producing time of Flight
(ToF) sensor and has a high reputation in smartphone camera module trials.
This news seems to reinforce the previous rumors that say
that the Galaxy S11 will feature 5x optical zoom, with a telephoto camera module
that is said to have been mass-produced since last May. A periscope module

Systems. DPReview If this rumor is evident, the Galaxy S11 will be Samsung's
first smartphone to have 5x optical zoom capability. In addition, the Galaxy
S11 is also rumored to have a 108-megapixel camera with Quad-Bayer sensors.
The Galaxy S11 phone itself is likely to be released around
February 2020, however, until now there is still no official news from Samsung
about the existence of the device, the more the launch schedule.
