fast charging samung galaxy s6 - One of the best features that will slightly give you the
right praise with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge is its fast
charging. It's like a fast-charging Qualcomm 2.0, which you know we love.
Essentially is this – you plug-in your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge when their battery
is very exhausted and watches as they quickly fill up to a reasonable amount in
a short time. Samsung states that you can get four hours of use in just 10
minutes. Awesome, right?
Fast or fast charging, at least to me, is the future of
charging until someone creates a way to quickly or quickly fill up with a
wireless charging pad. While wireless charging is certainly convenient, the
fact that you can take hours worth of juice in 10-15 minutes with a fast
charger is quite remarkable. We all push our phones to the limit today, plus
they have larger, higher-resolution displays and a stronger processor, so the
charger is just something we need on hand all day. If we could spend less time
with them, I could not imagine that anyone would complain.
I wrote the entire section on why you should quickly or
quickly charge in the next phone, so feel free to read that to catch up.
Qualcomm also collects these simple videos at different speeds that you will
see when using a regular charger vs. fast charger.
But for now, go back to the subject at hand. Since the
Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge both have fast charged, we decided to drain the battery
completely (up to 5%) On our S6 and then grab it including a fast charger that
Samsung gives you in the box. As expected, it's about what we expected it to
be.
The initial boost you get is substantial, but then when the
battery starts to fill, the charger starts slowing down, more than likely to
maintain the integrity of the battery. The good news is that in about 30
minutes, you will be around 50% battery, which is remarkable for those of us
who continue to struggle to get through the day on a single charge, even in
2015.
Here is the Breakdown time during our bill:
Starts at 5%
5 minutes at – 14%
15 minutes at –
32%
40 minutes in –
76%
50 minutes in –

Again, Samsung gives you a fast adaptive charger in a box
with a Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, so if you buy this phone, you've got a fast
charger and don't have to go spend money. With that said, if you want
additional chargers, a place like Amazon sells Quick Charge 2.0 adapters and
Samsung Adaptive Fast Chargers ($15). We will do further testing on the Fast
charging 2.0 adapter, but they have to charge fast too. If you plug one into a
Galaxy S6, the notification will arrive by saying that your device is charging
quickly.
Fast charging! Yes, we love it.
