Huawei officially added a new version of the MediaPad M6
tablet, now bearing the addition of the "Turbo" behind it, and is
specifically aimed at the Chinese market.
The latest Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo tablet comes with 2GB of
RAM than the previous tablet, making it now 6GB RAM.
With the size of the RAM, the MediaPad M6 Turbo is a
high-end device. Tablets are also supported by SoC Kirin 980 such as chipset
that is powered in the company's flagship smartphones: Huawei P30 Pro and Mate
20 Pro.
The MediaPad M6 Turbo Tablet also has two color versions
that are much more interesting than the non-Turbo Champagne Gold, Phantom Red,
and Phantom Blue.
The color gradation trend in the smartphone world finally
arrives in the tablet land. As seen on the official teaser, the backside of the
device shows some interesting patterns on their backs depending on the angle at
which the light comes.
The MediaPad M6 Turbo still has an 8.4-inch IPS touchscreen
of 2560 × 1600 pixels, the same as the non-Turbo variant.
The 980 SoC Kirin powered, microSD card slot, 13MP rear
camera, 8MP front camera, and 6,100 mAh battery.
The Tablet comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs
Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 on it.
The Wi-Fi-only version is sold at a price of CNY2,699 or an
equivalent of Rp5,4 million, while models with additional 4G connectivity are
sold at CNY 2.999 or around RP6 million.
There is no additional official description of whether or
when the MediaPad M6 Turbo will be offered outside of China.
