Cheap smartphones have large market
portions in Indonesia and other developing countries. But not so in South
Korea. Only a handful of vendors are releasing a smartphone entry-level there.
One is LG which has just revealed a new
smartphone-friendly wallet, namely the LG X2 (2019). The device will also be
launched outside of South Korea as LG K30 (2019), but the second specification
will remain the same.
Not in Indonesia, LG plans to launch K30
(2019) in Europe, including Germany, Italy, and Poland, as well as North
America, on 9 September.
Regarding the price, LG announces the
entry-level smartphone will be available in South Korea with an official of
about RP2, 3 million, but the price may vary depending on the country.
Although the price is affordable, the LG
K30 (2019) is a solid choice for those who need a cheap phone. Powered by a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, K30 (2019) Packs 2GB of RAM and expandable
32GB of storage.
In addition, the phone features a
5.5-inch HD + Full Vision wide display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, a 13MP rear
camera with PDAF (autofocus phase detection), and a 5MP secondary selfie
camera.
LG K30 (2019) is equipped with a 3,000
mAh battery and has aMIL-STD-810G certification.
The LG X2 (2019) is the cheapest
smartphone launched in South Korea this year and, according to the CEO of LG
Electronics Seung-jin, "It would be a good choice for customers who
appreciate all the necessary phone functions."
