Today's popular Smartwatch is more of a fashion in terms of
display. But Casio's well-known watch brand has just launched a smartwatch with
a tough design, ideal for outdoors or outdoor activities.
Casio's latest Smartwatch is part of the company's Pro Trek
series. Dubbed the WSD-F21HR, this smartwatch is supported by Google Wear OS
and some clever functions such as heart rate monitors and optical sensors.
Regarding the price, Casio announced the Pro Trek WSD-F21HR
will soon be available for purchase in the United States with an official of
about $500 or an equivalent of RP7, 1 million.
Smartwatches will come in black and red and consumers will
be able to redeem them from "jewelry retailers and selected watches"
across the country.
Unlike many other smartwatches, the Pro Trek WSD-F21HR
features a 1.32-inch dual-layer display, which includes a large color LCD and
monochrome LCD.
Users will be able to switch between them to conserve
battery life at any time of the day.
The monochrome LCD displays time and various measurements.
It will consume less power and is easier to read even outdoors, such as
directly in the sun.
On the other hand, the color LCD displays detailed info such
as maps, sensor readings, and various notifications in a colorful high definition
display.
The Casio Pro Trek WSD-F21HR features built-in GPS and an
advanced optical sensor capable of measuring user heart rate by flashing LED
lights to the wrist.
All information received from the heart rate sensor is
displayed on the special watch surface which is only available on these smart
watches.
Also, as this is a smart watch that uses the OS, users will
get access to a variety of Google apps and services. For example, users can
link activity history to Google Calendar or save GPS track data to Google
Drive.
